The Rotation: Ana Sky’s “Bad Guys”

Ana Sky knows how to make pop feel a little cinematic.

On “Bad Guys,” the Los Angeles singer-songwriter leans into attraction at its messiest, the kind that sits somewhere between knowing better and wanting it anyway. There is tension in the writing, but the track carries itself with confidence, giving the heavier emotions enough room to still feel fun.

The single anchors Ana’s newly released debut EP Prologue, a project built around love, heartbreak, resilience, and the versions of yourself that come out on the other side.

“Bad Guys” feels especially at home inside that world. Ana’s soulful vocal gives the song its weight, while the production keeps everything polished and dramatic without losing the intimacy underneath it. It is pop with a little edge to it, balancing vulnerability with the feeling that Ana is fully in control of where the song is going.

That balance is what keeps pulling us back in.

Prologue also includes “King of Hearts,” “LSR,” and “Blvd Dreams,” with Ana describing the EP as a new chapter both personally and creatively.

For us, “Bad Guys” is the track to start with.

Stream Bad Guys by Ana Sky , out now, and hear Prologue in full wherever you listen.
